IQS Tech Factory, the center for entrepreneurship of IQS, organizes IQS Next Tech Demo Day - the final of the first industrial acceleration program in the country- on the 20th of July.
The event will take place at Enginyers BCN - Col·legi d'Enginyers Graduats i Enginyers Tècnics Industrials, in Barcelona, and will include the pitches of the 10 selected startups, who will conclude the six weeks of acceleration program. From this final will emerge the winning startup that will travel to Boston to join the Richi Social Entrepreneur’s fall edition powered by the Richi Foundation. A panel of industry experts formed by: Rubén Bonet, CEO at Fractus; Ernest Lara, executive director at Richi Social Entrepreneurs; Irene León, Disease Area Leader at Novartis Oncology Spain; Pablo Linz, cofounder at Immfly; Alfons Cornella, founder at Infonomia; Jordi Arias, Tech Transfer managing director at mVenturesBcn, and Javier Marcipar, CEO at CIMNE Tecnología, will select and announce the winning project.
The jury will also choose two runner-up startups that will participate in the Imagine IF! acceleration program driven by Innovation Forum.

The event will also feature the presentations by two leading players in the current entrepreneurial ecosystem. Pere Condom-Vilà, director of Catalunya Emprèn program of the Generalitat de Catalunya, will open the Demo Day program with an inaugural presentation. Francesco Ferro, co-founder at PAL Robotics, a leading company in humanoid robotics research for the real world and creator of the first police robot in Dubai, will review the trends of the robotics sector in his talk: "The past, present and future of robotics."
Demo Day will close with the announcement of the chosen startup that will continue accelerating its project in Boston, as well as a networking session for all attendees.
